    Yakisugi technique is usually to completely burn / char  surfaces of sugi boards as the surface gets carbonized. This technique is for outer wall boards usually.
    I did Udukuri after I burnt the boards. Udukuri Technique is to accentuate the pattern of wood grain by brushing with wire or nylon brush (with water if it is yakisugi).
    By doing this, the grain lines come up, as the other part that isn't grain become lower because of brushing.  I did these process twice.
