THINSTOCK CURLY KOA LUMBER #5

In the upcoming months I am going to be listing items of interest to woodworkers. I have a friend who is slowly getting out of his woodworking hobby and has asked me to list various items. This listing is for a piece of THINSTOCK CURLY KOA LUMBER. My friend used to make beautiful keepsake and jewelry boxes and would use various thinstock lumber for tops and sides. He preferred thinstock lumber over veneers because he didn’t have to worry about sanding through the material. The piece is approximately 12 3/4"to 13 3/4" long and 7/32 inch thick. The width varies from 8 3/4" to 9 1/8”. The piece in listing #1 was sanded with 80 grit sandpaper, then 150 grit. Mineral spirits were then applied to the piece in listing #1 to highlight the look of the material. There are six pieces that are being offered in different listings. The last scan shows the sequence of bandsaw cuts. If you order more than one piece, request an invoice so I can save you money on combined shipping.
