Premium Pine Stair Wedge (S4S), Solid, Softwood - 9.875 in x 0.7 in x 0.3 in
10" x 1" x 0.5" stair wedge section of tapered pinewood that is finished on four sides. A versatile wood section designed for use in supporting stairs or for use in various crafting activities, home improvement or installation projects. A soft, lightweight, easy to cut species. Works well with both machine and hand tools. Accepts glue well, making for tight bonding. Excellent nail and screw holding capacity. Seldom checks or splits when fasteners are applied. Very large resin canals, numerous and evenly distributed, mostly solitary. Color contrast low. Tracheid diameter medium-large to very large. Wood grain and color may vary from images. Requires sanding sealer coat prior to staining. Milled size, after smoothing, is 0.7" x 9.875".
