    Surfacing Options
There are many wood surfacing techniques, but most common are rough edges, SLR1E, SLR2E, S2S, S3S, and S4S.
Rough Edges: This is the simplest technique and involves leaving the wood in its natural state with no additional processing.
    - SLR1E: (straight line ripped one edge )- one edge is ripped straight.
    - SLR2E: (straight line ripped two edges)- two edges are ripped straight.
The terms "S2S," "S3S" and "S4S" are all woodworking terms that refer to the surface of the wood. Here's a brief explanation of each:
    - S2S simply means "surface to surface." This means that the wood has been machined on both sides,
    - S3S means "surface three sides." This means that the wood has been machined on three sides (two surfaces and an edge), S2S + SLR1E. The fourth side is usually left unworked.
    - S4S means "surface four sides." This means the wood has been machined on all four sides, so it's ready for use. S2S + SLR1E + SLR2E
