1984 m1009 cucv blazer. This is a rust free vehicle that came off of Fort Huachuca military base in Arizona. It was decommissioned in 2008. I am the first civilian owner . It has a clear California title in my name and registration is current . This is a solid example of a cucv m1009. It has 42000 miles . I have recently changed the oil/filter in the engine and the transmission. It has a diesel 6.2 and a turbo 400 transmission . No California smog required. I installed new dick cepek tires 2k miles ago. Interior is dried and weather worn because it sat in the Arizona sun . This is not a cobbled up pile . It runs as it should and is unmolested. The body has damage from the decommissioning process . The crew bumped it good with a forklift and strapped it down hard with cables . I think it tells a story. It was saved from the crusher and stored away waiting a second life. This was before gov-bid was in place .
