Kiyonal Sealer is a wonderful evergreen tree protectant for cuts and wounds including graftings made during the styling and shaping of bonsai. It has the consistency of toothpaste and its greenish brown color can easily blend in with bark for a more natural looking coverage. It's a super quick drying sealant that sloughs off as the tree heals; it doesn't leave any marks behind. The manufacturer recommends that you apply a 1 - 2 mm thick coating on the damaged area for best results. This formulation is more intended for smaller cuts and wounds.
