This is a small bird skeleton of a  Minivet that is nicely displayed in a glass dome. This would be great for any collection or educational uses as well. The dome is glass with a wood base and the dome is removable as well as the bird skeleton. These displays are approx. 5-1/2" x 4".
species: Pericrocotus Cinnamoneus
The small minivet is a widespread and common resident breeding bird in thorn jungle and scrub. The nest is a cup-like structure into which two to four spotted eggs are laid and incubated by the female.
This minivet catches insects in trees by flycatching or while perched. The small minivet will form small flocks. Its call is a high, thin swee swee swee.

These are all natural specimens and may have a leg or part of an antenna missing, I do my best to make sure they are very good but sometimes one gets by me, any damage is very slight and will not effect the looks of the specimen. If you pay for Priority mail your items will be covered by postal insurance which will cover any damage in shipping-First class does not cover damage as it is not insured.
