In my opinion, it does not take away or distract from the piece and actually gives it more character.
The swan’s real beak was used in this piece, not an artificial replica. Much effort was made to preserve the swan as he was without manipulating or making major changes.

It took a two person taxidermy team to complete this piece. The beak was painted with the utmost care and precision. Many hours were put into creating this unique position all while preserving every bit of the swan’s natural beauty.
Measures approximately: 31 inches tall and with a 65 inch wide wing span
