    of wood there may be additional checking , cracking and bark loosened when you receive your item. That is just the character of rustic wood pieces. Measurements are taken at the longest, widest and thickest points on all of our slabs. We use an water mist to show grain and it evaporates quickly. We are located in Northern Michigan and do our own saw milling using a Wood Mizer. Local pick ups welcome!
